Arts Festival Volunteers Needed

May 2nd PGA Coffee and Nominations

Parents that would like to nominate themselves or someone else for the PGA position as Treasurer or Volunteer Coordinator, please submit the Officer Nomination Form found in the left navigation under Parent Association. Parents who have participated in a PGA event will have voting rights.Nominations will also be accepted during the last PGA coffee on May 2nd, 2017. More information TBA.

Parent-Guardian Association Elections - May 13, 5:30pm

Parents & guardians,
Elections for open officer positions in the Parent-Guardian Association (PGA)  will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 5:30pm. Come to the meeting, not only to vote on the officers but also to hear the wrap-up news for the school year.

Open officer positions are:  Vice-president, Secretary, and Volunteer Coordinator.  If you would like to run for one of these positions, please see the position descriptions listed under the Officers menu item on this page and come to the elections on May 13 at 5:30pm.

Officers elected!

An enthusiastic and productive Parent Association meeting was held on Wednesday, May 21, and after several exciting ballots, officers were elected.  They are:

President - Rosario Beltran 
Vice-president - Jacquelyn Arscott
Secretary - Janie Benitez
Treasurer - Bridgette Dorian
Volunteers Coordinators - Angela Shem & Traceye Dauphin

The officers as well as administration staff will meet in June to discuss the calendar of events for the upcoming 2014-15 school year and to outline ways that the Parent Association members can get involved and offer support.

Kickoff meeting held

Thank you to all who attended the kickoff meeting of the brand-new Parent Association for Cristo Rey Jesuit on April 30.  We so value your presence, your enthusiasm, and your ideas at our first meeting.  You are the pioneers in our goal to create a thriving, involved, supportive and motivating Parent Association.

Note that the date for the next meeting has changed.  It will now be held on Wednesday, May 21 - same time, same place (5:30 in the Cafe).

We will elect officers for the 2014-15 school year at the next Parent association meeting on May 21.  Please consider submitting your name in nomination for an officer position if you are interested in getting further involved in the school.  It is a great opportunity to support your child and the school as we move forward into the next school year.  See the officer job description by clicking on the Officers item in the left menu.  You may submit your nomination by email to or in person at the meeting.  Contact us at if any questions.
