It is hard to believe that it is already time to check student progress for this first quarter. Like most schools in Texas, we operate on a quarter system for grades. The first quarter grading term will end on October 16th and report cards will be available on October 23, 2015. This week marks the middle of the quarter so we ask that you check Powerschool today to review your child's academic progress and attendance. To check your student's grades online follow the below instruction. 1. Go to www.cristoreyjesuit.org 2 At the top right hand side of the screen, click on Portal link and choose Parents 3. On the top of the left hand-side of the Parent Portal, select the link Power School. 4. *Using your Power School login, login to Power School.
If you have trouble getting online, please come to the CRJ Front Office to use one of our parent computers. The Parent Association will host a training on October 28th to walk parents through the system and show them how to view student grades.
Teachers and administrators are ready to help with any questions you may have regarding your child's education. You may contact the teacher directly via email, Powerschool, or contact the Front Office to inquire how to make a faculty appointment. Please also know that Cristo Rey Jesuit provides the following academic support and encourages your student to take advantage of these support systems. 1) Magis Center: tutoring available after school until 5:15PM Monday-Friday (Cafeteria) 2) Writing Lab: writing support and computers are available in Room 123 Monday-Friday until 5:15PM 3) Resource Center: students are allowed to study in the library before and after classes Monday-Friday
